ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT | CHLOE 🥋

At NSKA, we truly believe that martial arts is for everyone.

After a year of struggles, Chloe has shown incredible determination, courage and resilience throughout her journey into wheelchair kata. With her permission, we are proud to share just how far she has come.

Some athletes inspire people because of the medals they win.

Others inspire people because of who they are.

Chloe does both. ❤️

Fast forward to today, Chloe has made it onto the English Karate Team training sessions and is once again winning major titles, including becoming a champion at the British International Championship. 🏆🇬🇧

Her journey is a reminder that karate isn’t about what you can’t do. It’s about finding what you can do, working hard, adapting, and refusing to give up.

But for us at NSKA, Chloe is so much more than her medals and achievements.

She is an incredible role model within our club.

Chloe works with and supports many of our children with additional needs, using her own experiences, patience and understanding to help them feel comfortable, confident and included on the mats. She understands that every child is different and that sometimes they simply need someone who believes in them, understands them and helps them find their own way.

Chloe is an inspiration to every martial artist not just here in Norfolk, but around the world alongside her colleagues and competitors. Her determination, attitude and love for karate represent everything we believe in at NSKA. ❤️

Chloe believes that “NSKA is a place where everyone is welcome. Whatever your ability, whatever challenges you may face, and whatever additional needs you may have; there is a place for you with us”.

We are incredibly lucky to have Chloe as part of our karate family, and we can’t wait to see what she achieves next on the National and International stage! 🥋💙

Karate is for everyone. 🌍

Your journey starts with believing that you belong. ❤️
