On Sunday 25th May, both NSKA athletes Sensei Rhys Carter, and Lucy Brooks proudly represented NSKA under Links Karate Association at the EKF English National Kata Squad Training Sessions.

This prestigious training brought together England’s top Karateka for a day of elite-level training. Working with Commonwealth Champions & European Champions truly showcased the highest level of Karate in England.

The 2 hour training session pushed their strengths and weaknesses to the max. Challenging them both mentally and physically - tapping into their basic kihon, intricate technique, precision, and power; as they received incredibly valuable feedback from some of the most expert coaches England has to offer. Further refining technique, posture, footwork, and the minimal details that make all the difference in the highest level of competition.
